An unforgettable art festival

I once went to a concert performed at the Xinghai Concert Hall that was extremely unforgettable to me. The performance of that concert was like a stroke of genius. Everyone will feel that this trip is worthwhile.

That evening, my parents and I happily went to the Xinghai Concert Hall to enjoy a New Year's concert performed by the China Symphony Orchestra. Stepping into the concert hall, there were many audiences, but the whole place was almost silent. It seemed that everyone was waiting for the much-anticipated prologue of the concert to begin. Perhaps due to the influence of the environment, after we found a seat, we sat down in the same silence.

The quiet auditorium finally burst into thunderous applause, and Chinese artists took to the stage amidst the applause - the concert began! What we never expected was that the first piece of music played by the artists was the awe-inspiring and well-known masterpiece of the famous German pianist and musician Beethoven: "Symphony of Destiny"! Although this is a very familiar melody to me, this is the first time I have heard this famous Beethoven piece in a concert. As soon as the performance started, I wandered into Beethoven's era: I saw Beethoven working very hard to compose music and forgetting to eat and sleep. The music switched to a heavier section, and I saw Beethoven's rough fate. His hearing began to weaken at the age of 26, and he became deaf in his later years, but he still insisted on composing and making contributions to the music industry. At this moment, I almost shed tears of emotion.

In addition to "Symphony of Destiny", "Colonel Porky's March" is also one of the highlights of this concert. "March of Colonel Porky" puts me in a fantasy: I seem to see the scene I have always dreamed of: an American cowboy riding a horse, swinging a noose, wearing a red shirt, leather jacket, and denim hat, galloping in the desert. In the middle, the sky was filled with yellow sand wherever he ran, showing the fierceness and toughness of the cowboys.

This concert suddenly made music a hobby that I couldn’t give up.
