general situation of the project in the second quarter

1. Ankang-Pingli Highway, originally a section of National Highway 316, is now an important inter-provincial trunk line, numbered S28. The line starts from the Silk Reeling Factory in Pingli County (K22+76) and ends at the entrance of Ankang Winery (K9+), with a total length of 6.268km. According to the second-class highway standard in mountainous and hilly areas, the designed driving speed is 4 km/h, the integral subgrade width is 8.5m/12m, the pavement width is 7.m, the general radius of horizontal curve is 1m, and the limit radius is 5m.

2. The starting point of N2 Bid is located in Shijiawan Village, Dagui Town, with the pile number K48+5;; The terminal is located near Fengshanpu Village, Laoxian Town, with the pile number K66+ and the route length of 17.51km.

3. The line in this bid section is basically built along the old road, with mountains and rivers. the line is located on the northern slope of Daba mountain range, with low mountain landforms. The terrain is high in the south and low in the north. the mountains and slopes in this area are steep, and the rocks are strongly weathered and broken, which is easy to form collapses and landslides. Geomorphology can be subdivided into: hilly and mountainous areas, river terraces, floodplains and other micro-geomorphological units.

ii. geology and earthquake

the route of this contract section is located in the southeast of the lower Paleozoic fold belt of south Qinling in Kunlun-Qinling fold system, belonging to the trough system. The structural features in the area are mainly folds, fault uplifts and fault basins, which are located in the Laoxian-Zhuxi compound syncline fold area, and the southernmost part of the area crosses the Pingli uplift area.

The upper soil layer of the bridge site is sand, gravel and pebbles, and the lower part is mainly phyllite and thousands of argillaceous slates, so the engineering conditions are good. The culvert site is mainly located in slope diluvial gravel soil and mixed gravel loam. Fill subgrade is mostly located in gullies, paddy fields, ponds and other low sections, with a layer of gray, gray-black low liquid limit clay or artificial fill on the surface; The excavated subgrade mainly consists of argillaceous slate, carbonaceous slate and phyllite. The lithology of the tunnel site is mainly phyllite and thousand-piece argillaceous slate, with low surrounding rock category, thousand-piece structure and developed schistosity.

III. Climate and hydrology

precipitation is mostly concentrated in summer and autumn, with little rain and snow in winter. The average annual rainfall in this area is 943mm, and the average annual evaporation is 1276 mm. The frost-free period of the whole year is about 25 days, with an average maximum frozen soil depth of 7cm and a maximum wind speed of 24.3 m/s.

The main rivers along the route are the Huangyanghe River and the Xianhe River, both of which belong to the Han River system and directly flow into the Han River. The river is crystal clear at ordinary times, and it can wade across the river in dry season, but it is long and violent in flood season. There are pore water, bedrock fissure water and confined water in groundwater, and the surface water is extremely rich, so there will be water almost every ditch in flood season.

iv. Traffic and transportation conditions

Due to the restriction of mountains, there is no detour road in this contract section, only the original third-class road connects Ankang and Heping, and the rest lines are in disrepair, with low alignment standard, long detour and extremely poor road conditions. The terrain along the line is close to the mountain and water, with steep terrain, one interruption and one blockage, making it difficult to set up longitudinal access roads.

v. Road building materials and yard

The bedrock in this contract section is mostly thin schist, slate, phyllite, etc., which is severely weathered, and there are few usable stones. Good stones are mainly purchased from five quarries, such as Pingxun Road, Linggong Village, Niuwang Township and Sangshu Formation, Yeshegou, Dagui Town.

The sand used comes from Huangyanghe River, Xianhe River and Hanjiang River. The sand yard is rich in reserves and the quality meets the requirements of the specification, among which the quality of Hanjiang River sand is the best.

the subgrade filling materials in this contract section can use excavation and tunnel waste slag to meet the construction needs.

No.2 Cement Plant in Pingli County, with an annual output of 12, tons, can supply 325 ~ 525 cement with excellent quality, and is located near K6+5 line with convenient transportation. It can also be purchased from Ankang market and transported to the site by car.

section I general construction objectives
