The Ministry of Education’s 2023 College Entrance Examination Policy is as follows:

The "Notice" focuses on five aspects of work requirements.

First, make every effort to ensure the safety and stability of the examination organization. Comprehensively implement examination safety responsibilities and improve emergency response plans for various emergencies. Strengthen departmental collaboration mechanisms, carry out special management of mobile phone cheating, and strengthen comprehensive management of the examination environment. Earnestly implement the measures and requirements for optimizing epidemic prevention and control, and coordinate examination epidemic prevention work.

The second is to continue to promote fair access to college admissions opportunities. Continue to implement the national cooperation plan to support enrollment in the central and western regions and the special plan for key universities to target rural and poverty-stricken areas, and do a good job in taking the college entrance examination for migrant children in the places of migration. Strictly carry out registration qualification review and severely crack down on "college entrance examination immigration".

The third is to steadily advance the reform of college entrance examinations. We will solidly advance the comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination and promote the further consolidation and deepening of the reform results. Continue to deepen the reform of examination content, implement the fundamental task of cultivating moral character and cultivating people, and guide students to develop in an all-round way morally, intellectually, physically, aesthetically and physically. In-depth implementation of the pilot work of the strong foundation plan, optimizing the enrollment procedures, strict selection standards, and strengthening the linkage between enrollment and training. Further improve the examination and enrollment system for higher vocational education and promote the integrated and coordinated development of vocational education.

The fourth is to effectively strengthen the standardized management of enrollment. Strictly implement the national enrollment plan and enrollment policies, and strictly enforce enrollment discipline. The fifth is to further optimize examination enrollment publicity services.
