How to Cultivate the Appreciation Ability of Dance

Dance education is an important part of quality education. Strengthening the cultivation of students' musical literacy and emotion in dance education is the key to promote the reform of dance education in colleges and universities and improve students' quality education. This paper briefly explains the connotation of college dance education in emotional education, analyzes the main problems existing in the cultivation of emotional education in college dance education at present, and puts forward concrete countermeasures for these problems. Watching and appreciating dance is an important way for students to improve their professional level. There is a saying in the field of Chinese opera that "you can't play your own play well without watching other people's plays". Mr. Mei Lanfang, a veteran, also said: "Watching a play can not only learn a lot, but also exercise our eyes, ears and thoughts." Over time, we will have the ability to distinguish fine from rough and evil, which every actor must pay attention to. " Therefore, people engaged in artistic work "don't know what to look at, but they can understand at a glance." Dance is even more so. The outstanding artistic achievements of dance artists can not be separated from extensive observation. For students studying dance, observing and appreciating dance is an important way to improve their professional level. Dance appreciation is inseparable from dance image, which is the process of audience's thinking in images. Creators extract from life and add subjective feelings, so they get the theme and become the theme, and use various artistic means to shape the dance image. The cultivation of dance appreciation ability needs a step-by-step process, which cannot be achieved overnight. This paper discusses the cultivation of dance appreciation ability from two aspects: the accumulation of dance perceptual experience and the all-round improvement of artistic accomplishment, so that dancers can continuously develop and improve themselves and have comprehensive appreciation ability. I. Overview of Dance Appreciation Dance appreciation refers to a kind of spiritual activity when people watch dance. It is the dance image created by the audience through dance works, and specifically understands the social life reflected by it, the thoughts and feelings of the characters, and the dancers' aesthetic evaluation of this life phenomenon. Dance appreciation should not be a passive acceptance process. Only through the reciprocal relationship between the author and the audience can the full significance of dance appreciation be embodied. The present situation of students majoring in dance can be roughly divided into two types. One is students from professional colleges, most of whom have solid professional basic skills and high professional level. However, this kind of students will inevitably lead to the lack of cultural level because of their strong professional training since childhood; Another kind of students are students majoring in dance in comprehensive universities. Because most of these students come from high schools, their cultural literacy is higher than that of students from professional colleges, but their professional level is far less than the former. For the former and the latter, dance appreciation is undoubtedly an important way to improve their professional ability and accomplishment. In view of their different individual factors, when appreciating the dance, their guiding angles can be different. For the former, that is, students in professional colleges, the cultivation of such students' observation ability can not only stay at the level of cultivating aesthetic ability, but more importantly, it is to tap potential, open up thinking and improve creative ability. Only in this way can we be "aware". When appreciating dance, we should be guided by cultural factors such as the background of dance creation, the connotation of the work, the creator's aesthetics, world outlook and so on, and guide students to dig the story behind the work, so as to expand their knowledge and thinking depth.
