COVID-19 mask standard model

The standard models of masks in COVID-19 are N95, FFP2, KN95 and 3M.

1、N95

N95 mask is one of nine kinds of anti-particle masks certified by NIOSH. "n" means oil resistance. "95" means that when exposed to a specific number of special test particles, the particle concentration inside the mask is lower than that outside the mask by more than 95%. Among them, 95% is not the average, but the minimum. Products that have passed NIOSH review can be called "N95 masks".

2、FFP2

This is the European standard EN 149. FFP2 mask refers to a mask that conforms to European standards (CEEN 149: 200 1). The European standard for protective masks is divided into three grades: FFP 1, FFP2 and FFP3. Different from American standard, its detection flow rate is 95L/min, and DOP oil is used to produce dust.

3、KN95

China standard GB2626-2006. KN95 is a mask standard in China, which is a compulsory national standard in China. It was put forward by state administration of work safety and managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Personal Protective Equipment (SAC/TC 1 12).

4, 3 meters

3M's anti-particulate mask products sold in China come from different places of origin, and all of them have been certified by Lao An (LA) in China. "3M mask" refers to all products that can be called masks produced by 3M company, such as warm masks, anti-particle masks (dust masks), medical protective masks, medical surgical masks, etc.

Precautions for mask prevention in novel coronavirus

During the outbreak of novel coronavirus, especially due to the shortage of materials, if we don't have close contact with patients with coronavirus, we can generally wear disposable medical masks to protect ourselves from virus infection when going out.

If you are in the same room with the patient, or the medical staff visit the patient, you need to wear n95 mask to protect the patient.

Usually choose a surgical mask with the right size. Children can choose the size of children, keep the surgical mask close to the face, wash their hands before wearing the surgical mask, avoid touching after wearing the surgical mask, and thoroughly clean their hands before and after touching.
