Requirements for the use of temporary shelters: the height of shelters should not be less than1.7m, and the edge of wastes should not be more than10cm from the ground. The mesh of fences should be between 20x20 and 40x 40(mm), the spacing between fences should not exceed 0.2m, and the height of fences in outdoor substations should generally not be less than 2.5m.

The barrier is used to separate the live and dead parts, and it is a barrier to prevent workers from touching or approaching the live body by mistake when overhauling substation equipment and other electrical equipment. The purpose of installing barriers is to isolate the workplace from the charged area or the dangerous area in space, so as to prevent the workers from touching the charged equipment by mistake at wrong intervals. For high-voltage facilities, regardless of their own insulation and protection, appropriate protection measures must be taken.
