Where to set the text direction?
The method of setting text is as follows.
Suppose we want to input an ancient poem into the document, and the text direction is vertical and from right to left. Click Page Layout - Text Direction - Vertical from right to left in the upper menu bar. This way the text will be formatted vertically and from right to left. If we want to enter a slogan, and the text direction is vertical and from left to right. Click Page Layout - Text Direction - Vertical from left to right in the upper menu bar. This way the text will be formatted vertically and from left to right. If we want to rotate all text. Click Page Layout - Text Direction in the upper menu bar and choose to rotate all text 90° clockwise or 90° counterclockwise. When a piece of text contains non-Chinese characters, if we only want to rotate Chinese characters. Click Page Layout - Text Direction - Chinese characters in the menu bar above to rotate 90° counterclockwise.
If none of the above text direction settings have the effect you want. Click Text Direction - Text Direction option, where you can manually set the text direction. Under Apply below, you can choose to apply to the entire document: adjust the entire document; apply after the insertion point: only apply after the insertion point of the cursor.
