Yibin College, founded in 1978, is a public comprehensive university in Sichuan Province. Yibin College enrolls students in two batches in Sichuan Province and most other provinces and cities in China, so it is considered as a two-university institution.

Yibin College mainly enrolls students in two batches in most provinces and cities, such as Qinghai, Gansu, Hunan, Guangxi, Anhui, Hebei, Hubei, Chongqing and many other provinces and cities. In addition to enrolling students in two colleges and universities, Yibin College also has enrollment batches such as art undergraduate courses, physical education undergraduate courses, special projects for poverty alleviation, separate programs in southern Xinjiang, counterpart vocational education, and direct preparatory courses. But this does not affect the ownership of the school as two universities.

Yibin College originated from Yibin Teachers College and Yibin Branch of Sichuan Education College, so it has advantages in normal education and other disciplines. The better majors are Chinese language and literature, financial management, law, international economy and trade, English, computer science and technology, electronic information science and technology, physical education and preschool education.
