What does the judicial police do?
According to the organization law of the people's court and the regulations on judicial police of the people's court, the judicial police of the people's court include
(1) Maintaining the trial order;
(2) Conduct safety inspection on personnel entering the test area;
(3) Escorting and guarding defendants or criminals in criminal trials, calling witnesses and expert witnesses and transmitting evidence;
(four) in the implementation of effective legal documents, cooperate with the implementation of compulsory measures, and take compulsory measures according to law when necessary;

The judicial police of the People's Procuratorate shall, in accordance with the provisions of the Organic Law of the People's Procuratorate and the Judicial Police Regulations of the People's Procuratorate, include
(a) to protect the crime scene directly investigated by the people's procuratorate;
(2) Executing subpoenas and subpoenas;
(three) to assist in the execution of residential surveillance, detention and arrest, and to assist in the pursuit of criminal suspects who are at large or have escaped;
(four) to participate in the search;
(5) detaining criminal suspects, defendants and criminals;
(6) Serving relevant legal documents;

The Organic Law of People's Procuratorates stipulates that people's procuratorates at all levels may set up judicial police according to their needs. In old China, the judicial police included not only the police chiefs and police officers of judicial organs, but also the gendarmes, police chiefs and police officers of specialized police agencies such as railways, forests, fisheries and mining.
Judicial police are awarded police ranks, superintendents and below are awarded by higher people's courts or provincial people's procuratorates, and police superintendents and police commissioners are awarded by the Supreme People's Court or the Supreme People's Procuratorate. The highest rank of the judicial police is the first-class captain.
