The "five-point management" policy of "double reduction" has positive significance in effectively reducing students' excessive academic burden, improving teachers' classroom teaching efficiency, preventing off-campus educational institutions from "stealing the guest," and returning students to a happy and healthy childhood. We actively implement the "double reduction" policy, do a good job in "five managements" such as after-school services, and effectively improve the quality of classroom teaching.

The first is about mobile phone management. By holding class meetings, contacting parents, etc., we immediately publicize relevant policies and rules, inform parents to manage their mobile phones, and reduce the time students are exposed to mobile phones as soon as possible. Except for tasks such as safety homework that must be completed using mobile phones as required by the school, students must not be assigned homework that must be completed using mobile phones. Strict management has been implemented regarding students bringing mobile phones and phone watches to campus.

2. Regarding students’ sleep. Elementary school students sleep 10 hours a day. Immediately pay attention to students' sleep time and communicate with parents to ensure students get enough sleep. For weaker students who work very slowly, the teacher will give special treatment and arrange simple homework to ensure that the students get enough sleep.

The third is about the management of reading materials. In accordance with the 12-item negative list issued by the Ministry of Education that should not be recommended or used as extracurricular reading materials for primary and secondary school students, we immediately inventory the books in libraries, offices, classrooms, etc., and manage them strictly in accordance with the rules. The class set up a library corner and a librarian. After students complete various assignments, they can borrow books for reading during noon time and extended time. Make clear requirements on the content, quantity, and gradient of students’ extracurricular reading.

Four. Regarding homework. We strictly implement homework time every day. As a class teacher, I am not only responsible for the Chinese subject, but also coordinate the homework time for each subject. The total amount of homework is controlled at 1 hour. Teachers of each subject arrange homework in advance after class, and more than half of the students during the extended time every afternoon can complete all homework, and some students can solve difficult problems at any time under the guidance of the teacher. Students who participate in individual clubs and students who are slower at homework can also complete it quickly after returning home.

The fifth aspect is students’ physical condition. There are three physical education classes every week this semester, with 20 minutes of inter-class exercises every morning and a 1-hour extended sunshine physical activity class in the afternoon. The activities are diverse, including eye exercises, group running, exercise training, and skipping and playing ball. Make students achieve the required amount of exercise every day.
