Brief introduction of Jinggangshan revolutionary museum

Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum, located in Hong Jun South Road, Ciping, Jinggangshan City, Jiangxi Province, was invested and built by National Cultural Heritage Administration in June 1958+065438+ 10, and opened in June 1959 on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the founding of New China. It is one of the top ten gift projects in China. On September 29th, 2005, the new Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum, the "No.1 Project" of the national patriotism education demonstration base, started construction. On October 27th, 2007, it was completed and opened to the public on the occasion of the eightieth anniversary of the founding of Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base. In the same year, it was opened to the public free of charge on June 5438+065438+1October 5th. 12 museum covers an area of 1.782 hectares, with a total construction area of 20030 square meters, including an exhibition hall area of 8436 square meters; There are more than 30,000 cultural relics in the collection, more than 20,000 precious documents and historical pictures, and more than 1000 precious works of Mo Bao by party and state leaders, famous painters and celebrities from all walks of life. Saved hundreds of films and videos of Mao Zedong, Zhu De and other party and state leaders when they returned to Jinggangshan. 1 Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum is the first local revolutionary history museum in China, which is mainly responsible for the exhibition of Jinggangshan revolutionary struggle history, the promotion of Jinggangshan spirit, and the management and protection of the former site of Jinggangshan Revolutionary Memorial Hall.
