Why did you hold this competition?

Rural revitalization needs the power of innovation. As the basic carrier and vanguard of rural cultural tourism, B&B undertakes the important mission of continuing local culture, gathering outstanding talents, shaping and spreading destination IP.

This year's AIM Competition launched a brand-new "CP" model, encouraging the people's host+designer team to form a joint team to operate and design the perfect B&B in the south of Wuxiang Mountain in Nanjing, opening up a new path for the development of B&B brand clusters.

Designers use their professional knowledge and ideas to understand the local culture and think about the structure of the building, thus creating a better and more comfortable living space for small places.

What did the host do?

The host used his own feelings and ideas to let every guest who stepped into the village return to his real hometown and feel the "formal and informal" seclusion life in this building.

Operation of civilian mainframe? + ? Architect's design = perfect B&B.

AIM venue is located in Lishui, where Nanjing New Vice City meets Wu Chu, with beautiful mountains and rivers and outstanding people. The dreamless mountain south, which can best bear the dream of rural life, has undulating mountains, lush forests, bamboo planting, leisurely teahouses in the mountain village, wide lakes and 10,000 mu of fertile land. A contented fisherman lives in the dreamless mountain south, which makes people reluctant to return.

In the first stage, any village in the south area of Wuxiang Mountain, such as Xue Jia, Xiaoliujiadu, Crystal Village, Li Zaifeng, Jia Zhu and Dongshan, was directionally designed.

Creative and suitable solutions are put forward in the aspects of overall positioning, village planning, industrial ecology, public landscape and the design of single homestay.
