What is a women's congress?

The women's congress (full name of the women's congress) is the grass-roots organization of the women's Federation (hereinafter referred to as the Women's Federation), which has two forms: rural women's congress and urban women's congress. Rural women's congresses are located in administrative villages and non-public economic organizations. A women's congress shall be established if there are more than 30 women, and a women's group may be established if there are less than 30 women. Women's congresses are re-elected every three years, and the re-election work is synchronized with the change of villagers' committees. The Urban Women's Congress (hereinafter referred to as the Municipal Women's Federation) is the grassroots organization of the Urban Women's Federation, and it is the bridge and link between the party and the government to contact urban women.
