Qiyi Baise

The baise uprising was led by Zhang and Wei Boqun, the producers of 1929 10.22 * *, in an uprising in Baise County, Guangxi Province, led by the Fourth Guard Brigade, the Training Team and the Youjiang Peasant Army, according to the melee situation after the defeat of Yu Zuobai, Chairman of the Kuomintang Guangxi Province, and the Director of the Supervision Department and Chiang Kai-shek. The Seventh Army of the Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army was proclaimed in Baise. Youjiang Soviet government was proclaimed. The baise uprising succeeded.

The baise uprising shook the rule of Kuomintang reactionaries in Guangxi, which was a completely successful armed uprising. It was a large-scale and far-reaching heroic armed uprising led by the China Producer Party after the Nanchang Uprising, the Autumn Harvest Uprising and the Guangzhou Uprising. It is an important part of our party's great struggle for independence and liberation for people of all ethnic groups, and it is also a brilliant practice and successful exploration of our party's encircling cities from rural areas and seizing political power by armed forces during the Agrarian Revolutionary War.
