The Historical Evolution of Langfang Army Missile Academy
Formerly known as the Artillery Missile Training Corps, the College was established in 1978+065438+ 10, and expanded into an artillery missile training base in April/979. /kloc-0 was transformed into artillery missile school in June, 1983, and/kloc-0 was renamed as Langfang artillery missile school in June, 1986. Later, it became a branch of the Artillery Command College headquartered in Xuanhua,1June, 1993. After independence, it was officially renamed Langfang Army Missile Academy. In the great disarmament in 2003, the college became the only one in the artillery system that was abolished. The teachers, students and equipment of two major departments and three major departments were merged into other military academies, while the other three departments and foreign training departments were merged into Langfang Campus of Xuanhua Artillery Command College. From July 2004, according to the order of the Central Military Commission, Langfang Army Missile Academy was abolished, and the training tasks of the former Langfang Army Missile Academy were all merged into the newly established Artillery Command Academy except for some of them being diverted to other colleges.
