Who is one of the five elders in Yan 'an?

"Five Old Men in Yan 'an" was the honorific title given to five old comrades, namely Xu Teli, Wu, Xie Juezai, Dong and Lin, by central leaders and government officials during the period from June 6, 1948 to June 6, 1947.

Dong Lao successively served as Vice Premier of the State Council, Dean of the Supreme People's Court, Vice Chairman of People's Republic of China (PRC) and The Politburo Standing Committee (PSC) of the Communist Party of China. Lin Lao successively served as Secretary General of the Central People's Government and Vice Chairman the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC).

Lao Xu served as a member of the Central People's Government and the 7th and 8th the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and devoted himself to socialist education. Xie Lao successively served as Minister of the Interior of the Central People's Government, Dean the Supreme People's Court and Vice Chairman of the China People's Political Consultative Conference. Wu Lao successively served as president of China Renmin University and director of China Character Reform Committee. At the age of 88, he also went to the podium to tell the history of the party for the teachers and students of the National People's Congress.

Yan 'an Five Old Men are respected proletarian revolutionaries, politicians and outstanding social activists of the older generation.
