As early as 20 16 Geneva Motor Show, Volkswagen released its brand-new medium and large car-PHIDEON Huiang. The new car is built on the same MLB platform as Audi A6, and will be first introduced into domestic production and sales by SAIC Volkswagen. On the night before the 20 16 Beijing Auto Show, SAIC Volkswagen PHIDEON was officially listed in China, and its Chinese name was officially Hui 'ang.

PHIDEON's name comes from the ancient Roman goddess "Fides", which symbolizes vows and beliefs. PHIDEON will be Volkswagen's first medium and large car, which will make up the gap between Phaeton and Magotan. In the overall design of the car body, Volkswagen Huiang followed the design idea of the previous CCoupe concept car. The top model is equipped with EA8373.0T V6 supercharged engine with a maximum power of 300 HP and a peak torque of 440 Nm. The gearbox uses DSG seven-speed wet power shift. Headlights and daytime running lights use LED light sources, and are equipped with functions such as curve auxiliary lighting and automatic opening and closing.

The body length of Huiang is 5074 mm, the wheelbase is 3009 mm, and the side double edge line extends from the front fender to the rear luggage compartment. Hui 'ang's wheels are derived from the design of C Coupe GTE concept car, and the wide wheel arch is one of its characteristics. Tyre size is 255/40R 19. The design of Hui 'ang rear end is also very simple, with two exhaust ports on both sides.
