Legal Basis: Notice on Strengthening the Management of Illegal Electric Three-wheeled and Four-wheeled Vehicles In order to purify the road traffic environment in this Municipality and maintain the road traffic safety order, according to the laws and regulations on road traffic safety, product quality and other relevant national standards, the relevant issues on strengthening the management of illegal electric three-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles in this Municipality are hereby notified as follows:

1. Illegal electric tricycles refer to vehicles that are produced without the permission of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, are not listed in the Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products, and their performance does not meet the technical standards for motor vehicle safety, and are driven by electricity to carry passengers or goods.

Two, prohibit the production and sale of illegal electric tricycles. Illegal production and sales, the market supervision department confiscated illegal production and sales of vehicles, and shall be punished according to law. From the date of promulgation of this circular, no unit or individual may add any illegal electric tricycles.

3. Set a transition period for illegal electric three-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles purchased before the issuance of this notice, and the end time of the transition period is June 65438+February 3, 20231. When driving on the road during the transition period, you should abide by the relevant traffic laws and regulations. Violation of traffic laws and regulations shall be investigated and dealt with by the traffic administrative department of the public security organ according to law.

Four, after the transition period (1, 2024), illegal electric tricycles are not allowed to drive on the road, not to park in roads, squares, parking lots and other public places. If you drive illegally or park on the road, the law enforcement department will investigate and deal with it according to law.

Five, postal delivery, landscaping, sanitation departments to develop their own industry management measures for the use of electric tricycles, strengthen daily management during the transition period, after the transition period, all replaced by legal vehicles.

Six, factories, tourist attractions, amusement places and other specific areas of electric vehicles used in accordance with the field (factory) special motor vehicle management regulations.
