What does double carbon mean?

Double carbon is a two-stage carbon emission reduction target proposed by China (referred to as "double carbon" strategic target).

Application of carbon dioxide

High-purity carbon dioxide is mainly used in electronic industry, medical research and clinical diagnosis, calibration gas for carbon dioxide lasers and detection instruments, and preparation of other special mixed gases, and is used as a regulator in polyethylene polymerization.

Solid carbon dioxide is widely used in the refrigeration of perishable foods such as dairy products, meat and frozen foods in transit, and as a refrigerant in many industrial processes, such as crushing heat-sensitive materials, rubber polishing, metal cold treatment, shrink assembly of mechanical parts, vacuum cold traps and so on.
