How to protect the rights of farmers' livelihood projects

In order to ensure the payment of migrant workers' wages during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, effectively prevent and resolve labor disputes, and promote social harmony and stability, Tunxi District Legal Aid Center, in combination with the actual work, actively plays the role of legal aid for livelihood projects of urban and rural poor groups, and implements the protection of migrant workers' rights and interests through various measures.

First, strengthen organizational guarantee and clarify post responsibilities. A leading group for legal aid livelihood projects has been set up, with the main leaders of the Bureau as the leader, the leaders in charge of the Bureau as the deputy leader, and the heads of the stock offices and judicial offices as members, to supervise and coordinate the development of legal aid livelihood projects and do a good job in organizing, implementing and guaranteeing the provisions on the payment of wages for migrant workers.

Second, strengthen publicity and education and raise awareness of rights protection. Actively carry out the publicity activities of "legal aid to benefit the people and help migrant workers", organize legal aid workers, lawyers, grassroots legal service workers and legal aid volunteers to go deep into enterprises, construction sites, villages and other places where migrant workers gather, carry out publicity on legal aid livelihood projects, explain policy information in detail, provide free legal consulting services for migrant workers, and enhance their legal awareness and rights protection awareness.

Third, strengthen service optimization and smooth aid channels. In order to ensure the timely acceptance and accurate handling of migrant workers' wage cases, Tunxi District Legal Aid Center implements the policy of "one exemption and three priorities", which is free from financial means test and gives priority to acceptance, assignment and handling, so that migrant workers can obtain more convenient and efficient legal aid services.

Fourth, strengthen departmental linkage and improve the coordination mechanism. In order to reduce the number of migrant workers' rights protection runs, avoid running back and forth between departments, and ensure the realization of the work goal of "running at most once", the District Legal Aid Center actively contacted the departments such as social service, letters and visits, housing and construction, and comprehensive management, and actively strengthened the linkage between departments. At the same time, lawyers on duty are arranged in the legal aid workstations of courts and procuratorates to provide free legal advice to visiting migrant workers. Those who need lawyers to provide legal aid will be accepted and submitted to the court center in time, and the center will assign lawyers for them.

Five, strengthen the supervision of the whole process, to ensure the quality of the case. Follow-up visits were made to the accepted cases of migrant workers' rights protection, and the handling of the cases was grasped in time. The code of conduct of legal aid contractors was publicized by auditing the trial and evaluating the case quality, which effectively improved the quality of case settlement and guaranteed the legitimate rights and interests of migrant workers.

Since the beginning of this year, the center * * * has accepted the cases of migrant workers asking for wages 1 1, provided legal advice to migrant workers for more than 50 times, and carried out publicity activities for migrant workers for more than 60 times, actively helping migrant workers recover their economic losses of 79,800 yuan, making positive contributions to maintaining social harmony and stability.
