What does an emergency runner mean?

An emergency runner is a special runner on the marathon track.

First-aid runners love running and have good physical and psychological qualities. They should not only run on the track like ordinary athletes, but also take track rescue as the principle, silently pay attention to and care for the players in need around them, stop at any time and place to give effective help to the injured players, and strive to complete the game according to the arranged pace requirements!

"Mobile first aid" is the value and significance of their existence. Personally, I think the word "mobile" is the most important. Therefore, every first-aid runner has several main principles on the track: running at a steady speed, giving priority to emergencies, and focusing on avoiding light. The pattern on the back of the first aid suit is called "Star of Life", which is the international symbol of the emergency medical ambulance service system. It will appear on the uniforms of ambulances, ambulance helicopters, ambulance equipment and ambulance technicians.

Requirements of emergency runners

1, 2019-Participate in at least two marathons or half marathons in 2022 (according to the review of the application group), have at least one marathon/half marathon emergency runner experience, and successfully sign up for the 2022 Baoding Marathon.

2. Emergency personnel must hold the following valid certificates: medical practitioners and practical nurse certificates within the validity period; Hold other CPR /AED first aid certificates, have first aid training experience and basic first aid knowledge; Hold a valid first aid certificate issued by the municipal emergency center or the Red Cross.

3. Before the competition, all first-aid personnel must be retrained in CPR organized by the Organizing Committee.

4. Track emergency runners have good marathon foundation, stable pace level and skillful speed control ability.

5. The contestants of Baoding Marathon in 2023 have successfully registered.

6. Under the same conditions, the experience of marathon official emergency personnel is preferred.
