Under the new curriculum standards, teachers are participants, promoters and organizers in the teaching process, so a democratic and harmonious teaching atmosphere should be created in classroom teaching, which is conducive to the interaction between teachers and students and allows students to learn individually.
The interaction between teachers and students should be "seven movements", namely, emotion, brain, ears, eyes, hands, mouth and separation. Teachers and students should think together around the teaching objectives. Teachers should use various means to set suspense, stimulate students' brains, and provide students with various materials for listening, demonstrating, observing, discussing and emotional thinking. For example, when teaching the content of "getting information from maps", my teaching goal is to learn in cooperation and exchange, choose common maps as needed, find needed geographical information, and form the habit of using maps in daily life. Because the goal is "cooperation and communication", classroom teaching has changed from simple teacher speaking and students listening to interactive learning between teachers and students, so classroom teaching is full of vitality and vigor. In the classroom activities, students put forward many new questions about the types of maps and how to get information from them effectively. Not only does it cultivate students' ability to observe and think about problems, but teachers also enrich themselves in interaction, so as to achieve the goal of common progress with teachers and students.
Third, change students' learning methods and cultivate students' learning methods.

Through mock trial's debate, students learn geography knowledge through cooperation, communication and inquiry, and then form the behavior attitude of consciously protecting nature and the values of sustainable development through experience. Through self-study, students explore the essence of problems on the basis of extensive data collection-consulting books, investigating and visiting, looking for ways to solve problems, and forming the habit of analyzing and solving problems by using geographical knowledge.
Fourth, emphasize experience and cultivate correct feelings, attitudes and values.
In geography teaching, there are rich practical education contents, such as patriotism, national conditions education and sustainable development education. Take appropriate teaching methods and communicate with teachers and students more, so that students can experience and feel in knowledge, skills and process methods, thus turning these ideas into conscious actions.
In the study of "International Cooperation", I asked students to simulate the United Nations conference, and the whole class played different roles, such as playing the roles of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, representatives of the five permanent members of the United Nations, representatives of developing countries, representatives of developed countries and representatives of some important international organizations in the world. In the actual model UN meeting, I asked them to discuss two topics, namely "bloody conflict between Palestine and Israel" and "global oil price". Through discussion, they realized the important role of the United Nations and experienced the importance of international cooperation, which undoubtedly played an important role in establishing a correct world outlook and global outlook for students.
