Under what circumstances did Zhao Dan, a 24-year-old firefighter, die?

At 9: 20 on August 13, Fanchang Village, Shangde Town, wen county was besieged by floods, and a pregnant woman with broken amniotic fluid needed urgent rescue. During the rescue operation, Comrade Zhao Dan and his comrades-in-arms transferred pregnant women and their husbands to power rubber boats. When they were driving upstream along the river, the power rubber boat overturned due to the complicated water situation and sudden rapids at the bend of the river. Comrade Zhao Dan tried to rescue pregnant women who fell into the water regardless of his personal safety, but was washed away by the flood because of the rapid current, and unfortunately died heroically.

On August 16, @ Emergency Management Department approved Comrade Zhao Dan, a firefighter in the communication support class of Jiachang Fire Rescue Station in Wenxian County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, as a martyr.

Brief introduction of Comrade Zhao Dan

Zhao Dan, male, Han nationality, born in August, 1996, a member of Kaiyang, Guizhou. 20/kloc-participated in fire fighting work in September of 0/5, and was a fourth-class fireman.

After the death of Comrade Zhao Dan, Huang Ming, secretary of the Party Committee of the Emergency Management Department, asked for full efforts to deal with the aftermath and expressed cordial condolences to his family. The Fire and Rescue Bureau of the Emergency Management Department sent a working group to Longnan, Gansu Province to visit the family of Comrade Zhao Dan and guide the aftermath.
