The latest regulations for vehicle annual inspection are as follows:

1, optimize the annual inspection cycle

From June, 2022 10, if the vehicle age is less than or equal to 10, online inspection is only required in the sixth year and 10, and the inspection mark is applied every two years. Cancel the two-year inspection of vehicle age 15 and unify it into one-year inspection of vehicle age 10.

Note that the inspection exemption policy cannot be enjoyed in the following three situations:

(1) van;

(2) illegally modifying a car that has been punished according to law;

(3) Vehicles causing traffic accidents.

In addition, cars that have not been registered for more than 4 years since the date of delivery do not enjoy the 6-year exemption policy.

2. Electronic annual inspection label

From March 1 day, 2020, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Chongqing, Harbin, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Jinan, Zhuzhou, Shenzhen, Haikou, Chengdu, Guiyang, Yuxi, Urumqi, etc. 16 cities became the first batch of qualified inspection marks for pilot motor vehicles.

Electronic certificates, that is, inspection marks, have the same effect as paper documents. For vehicles that have received electronic certificates, it is not necessary to affix paper marks to the inspection marks, and the traffic control department will not punish them for not placing (affixing) inspection marks on motor vehicles. Electronic certificates and inspection marks can be downloaded and stored in the mobile phone, which is convenient for display and use when the mobile phone is offline.

If you need to get a paper voucher, you can choose to mail it or pick it up at the vehicle management office. Vehicles are subject to online inspection. After the motor vehicle passes the inspection, the inspection agency will prompt the motor vehicle owner to view and download the inspection mark electronic certificate online while issuing the paper inspection mark certificate.

3. The car inspection fee has gone up.

Due to the implementation of the national six emission standards, for our private car owners, of course, we have to face more annual inspection items, such as the integrity inspection of pollution control devices, OBD inspection of some vehicles and other items, and diesel vehicles have to face increased nitrogen oxide emission inspection, which was not available in the past.

However, the recommended price of this annual inspection is often not strictly implemented by many inspection stations, so the annual inspection fees in different regions will still be "uneven", which can reflect many management problems of inspection stations.

During this period, if the masses really have production and living needs such as driving, or emergency support needs such as epidemic prevention and control personnel and material transportation, the local public security traffic police department will not punish the illegal acts of motor vehicles that fail to carry out safety and technical inspection on the road according to the specified time.

If the motor vehicle may reach the scrapping standard due to overdue inspection, the public security traffic police department will extend the time limit to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the people. After the epidemic prevention and control, the owner should deal with it as soon as possible.

Information required for vehicle annual inspection (individual)

Before the annual inspection of the vehicle, it is natural to prepare relevant materials, including the original driving license, a copy of the compulsory insurance, a copy of the ID card, the vehicle, and the information of the agent if it is a unit car.

Basic process of annual inspection

1. Fill in two forms: motor vehicle license application form and motor vehicle inspection record form;

2. Find the annual inspection entry window, review the materials and enter them;

3. Find the illegal query window, and pay a fine here if there is any violation;

4. Require inspectors to carry out external inspection on the vehicle, and open the front cover to check the frame number. The inspector will give the signature page of the inspection, and then go to the inspection payment window (generally 100 yuan) to give the invoice;

5. Find the detection login window and leave all the materials in this window;

Matters needing attention in annual inspection
