The most complete tour guide explanation of Putuo Mountain 1
Dear friend, now you have come to Foding Mountain, the highest place in Putuo Mountain. It is also called Bodhisattva Peak, which is a holy place for worshippers to worship. In addition, due to its unique geographical location, you can sometimes enjoy the rare mirage and Buddha's light here, so there has always been a saying that you won't go to Putuo Mountain unless you go to the top of the Buddha.
Huiji Temple on Foding Mountain is the highest temple in Putuo Mountain. It stands on the top of the mountain, with its back to the sky and facing the sea, surrounded by fairy clouds, and the scenery is magnificent. However, because it is built between valleys and occupies a limited area, the layout of Huiji Temple is based on the short axis of the Heavenly King Hall and the Ursa Major Hall, and it is not completely symmetrical to both sides. The left and right halls, bell towers, wing rooms and other buildings are all connected by verandahs, and together with the patio in the middle, they form multiple courtyards. In particular, the newly-built white marble lotus pond, carved fence and jade bridge in the East Courtyard have a unique charm of Jiangnan gardens.
The main hall of Huiji Temple-Daxiong Hall is dedicated to Sakyamuni and his two disciples Ananda and Ye Jia. Sacrificing Buddha statues in Ursa Mahayana Hall is different from sacrificing Guanyin Bodhisattva in Ursa Mahayana Hall of other temples in Putuo Mountain. It turns out that offering sacrifices to the Buddha at the top of the mountain instead of Guanyin Bodhisattva implies the supreme status of the Buddha, even in the Dojo of Guanyin Bodhisattva. In the wing rooms on both sides of the main hall, there are twenty heavens. Simply put, they are the protectors of Buddhism. Buddhism believes that when the Buddha helps the world spread Buddhism, if there is no effective protector, Buddhism will decline, so there are many protectors in Buddhism. They all have extraordinary magic. They can help the Buddha spread Buddhism, and they can also deter those who endanger Buddhism. However, the protector of Buddhism is not just twenty days, but a huge team. The name of this team is Tianlong Babu, representing eight troops, of which Tianbu and Longbu are the most important, and the twenty celestial bodies in front of us belong to Tianbu. In order to show respect for the Buddha, the gods and buddhas all lean forward 15 degrees. Besides Huiji Temple in Putuo Mountain, there are Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou, Dahui Temple in Beijing and Huayan Temple in Datong.
Of course, as one of the three temples of Putuo Mountain in Guanyin Bodhisattva Dojo, Huiji Temple also has a hall dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva, called Guanyin Hall. Different from other temples, there is a 2.7-meter-high statue of Guanyin, and the wall is inlaid with more than 100 line carved Guanyin statues, which brings together the paintings of famous artists in Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties.
At the back door of Huiji Temple, there is a Putuo Carp. It is said that it was originally brought by an ancient Burmese monk when he came to Putuo Mountain to worship. The height of this tree is over 13 meters. It is divided into two branches from the surface. It is divided into two parts, which is very regular. It is monoecious. It blooms in May every year, and the fruit ripens in the middle of 10. However, due to the extremely low reproduction rate, Myanmar, its origin, has long been extinct, which is rare in the world. Therefore, it has become the symbol of Putuo and the Bodhi of Buddhism.
If you are interested in other precious plants in Putuo Mountain, you might as well go to the new litsea under the back slope of the temple. This is a rare tree species only found in Zhejiang, and it is known as the Buddha's Light Tree. Whenever Guanyin's birthday falls on the 19th day of the second lunar month in spring, its tender branches and leaves are covered with golden fluff, shining in the sun, just like a messenger to herald the arrival of spring, adding luster to the Haitian Buddha country.
From Huiji Temple, you can stand on Foding Mountain at an altitude of more than 300 meters and overlook the magnificent sea view. If the weather is fine, you can see the large and small islands of Zhoushan Archipelago dotted like lotus flowers in the East China Sea of China. Among these islands, the most famous one is Luojiashan nearby. Look, is Luojiashan lying peacefully on the sea like a kind-hearted Guanyin bodhisattva? If you identify her carefully, you can also distinguish her head, neck, chest, feet and so on, so it is also called sleeping Guanyin or sleeping Buddha at sea. It is said that Guanyin traveled across the ocean to Putuo Mountain to open a Dojo after practicing Taoism in Luojia Mountain, so many devout believers will take a boat to worship in Luojia Mountain when they come to Putuo Mountain.
Well, Huiji Temple on Foding Mountain is here for you. If you go down the mountain to Fayu Temple in the south, you can enjoy many stone carvings on the way. Among them, the four characters of Haitian Buddha carved on a huge rock are the most famous. Legend has it that it was written by Hou, a famous anti-Japanese scholar in Ming Dynasty, and now it has become a representative landscape of Putuo Mountain. If you are interested, you might as well take a photo as a souvenir.
Explanation of the most complete tour guide words in Putuo Mountain II
We are now in Fusai Temple, the largest temple in Putuo Mountain.
Fusaji is also called "Si Qian".
Its predecessor was the famous "refusing to go to Kannonji".
In the seventh year of Jiading in Song Dynasty, the emperor inscribed "Tong Yuan Treasure Hall" and designated it as Guanyin Temple.
Later, it was destroyed many times. In the thirty-third year of Wanli in Ming Shenzong, the court sent eunuch Zhang Qian to expand Baotuo Kannonji and named it "Putuo Temple to protect the country and live forever". This temple is very large, and it was located in the southeast for a time.
In the thirty-eighth year of Kangxi, the amount of "the spirit of all nations" was basically formed in the Yongzheng period. Today, Fossett has ***23 1 rooms, including the 10th Hall, 12th Floor, 7th Hall and 7th Hall.
There is a stone archway about 20 meters high in front of Fossett, with four pillars and three doors, and exquisite cloud silk and stone gourd are carved on the pillars.
On the north side of the square, there is a stone sign on the tree, which reads: "Civil and military officials, soldiers and civilians will dismount here."
It is said that this is an imperial decree issued by the emperor. In the past, officials came here, civil servants got off the sedan chair and officers dismounted to show their respect for Guanyin Bodhisattva.
Behind the stone archway is a lotus pond of about 65,438+05 mu, named "Hai Yin pond", also called "release pond", which was built in the Ming Dynasty.
"Hai Yin" means that the wisdom of the Buddha can print all laws like the sea, and "release" is a universal Buddhist activity, which incorporates the Buddhist teachings of "compassion" and "not killing".
There are three bridges on the pond in Hai Yin. Walk past the middle one, and you will come to the Imperial Monument Pavilion built in Yongzheng period. The inscription on the imperial tablet records the history of Mount Putuo. The carved dragons on the tablet are lifelike, and the calligraphy is vigorous and powerful, which can be described as two unique skills.
Of course, if you are interested, you can also visit the "Guan Bodhisattva" wall in the east. According to legend, Guanyin Bodhisattva not only has a compassionate heart, but also has broad wisdom to look at everything in the world, so it is sometimes called "Guanyin", which means that she can hear people's sufferings, and sometimes it is called "tube", which means her ability to observe everything in the world.
When you come to the temple, you will surely ask strangely, "The main entrance of the temple is closed. How can I get in? " Here's another story.
According to legend, Emperor Qianlong forgot to go back when he visited Mount Putuo at night. When he returned to Fossett, the gate of the temple had been closed, but his request to open the door was rejected.
The young monk at the gate said, "The country has national laws and temples have temple rules." Gan Long had no choice but to enter the temple from Dongshanmen.
After returning to the palace, Qianlong was extremely angry about this and ordered that this door should not be opened from now on.
This situation has continued until now, and only the head of state, the bodhisattva or the abbot of the temple can open it when they enter the door for the first time. Usually, visitors can only enter from the next side door.
After the Heavenly King Hall dedicated to Maitreya, we can come to Dayuantong Hall, which is the main hall dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva by Fossett.
The hall is seven rooms wide and six rooms wide. It is magnificent and can accommodate thousands of people. There is a saying that "one hundred people will not feel wide when they go in, and one thousand people will not feel crowded when they get on the bus", so it is also called "Life Museum".
When you enter the Hall of the Great Hero, you can see a statue of Guanyin of Pilu, about nine meters high, wearing a Pilu crown, with a statue of Amitabha on it, with kind eyes and a kind smile. There is a good fortune and a dragon girl standing next to you, and her expression is innocent and lively.
In China, Guanyin Bodhisattva is a household name, and is well known to all women and children.
According to Buddhist scriptures, when in danger, the Bodhisattva can hear it by chanting its name and go to rescue and release, so it is called "Guanyin".
In the Tang Dynasty, in order to avoid the taboo of Emperor Taizong and Li Shimin, the word "world" was omitted, which is called "Guanyin" for short, and is still in use today.
For most ordinary people, they don't necessarily know Sakyamuni Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, but few people don't know Guanyin Bodhisattva. Guanyin has actually become the core figure of folk Buddhism and even the whole folk religious belief.
Why is this guanyin temple in front of us called "Tong Yuan Tang"? In fact, it is precisely because Guanyin can look at her eyes and say "the ears are connected, that is, the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and heart are connected" as long as she hears the cry for help from suffering.
Therefore, "Tong Yuan" has become a synonym for Guanyin, which means "impartial and unimpeded" and complete access.
There are 65,438+06 Guanyin bodhisattvas with different costumes and shapes on both sides of the Guanyin in Pilu, which are collectively called "Thirty-two Statues of Guanyin". These are all images of Guanyin when she enlightened the world in different identities.
The 32-year-old Guanyin can only be worshipped as a whole, not alone. Together with the Guanyin Buddha in the middle, this plastic method is also unique in Guanyin Dojo.
There is an annex hall on both sides of the main hall. The East Annex Hall is dedicated to Manjusri Bodhisattva, and the West Annex Hall is dedicated to Samantabhadra Bodhisattva. In addition, there is a Tibetan temple in the Dharma Hall, which is dedicated to the Tibetan Bodhisattva.
After visiting the halls of Fossett, you can also visit the "Twin Towers" in the southeast.
Multi-Pagoda was built in Yuan Dynasty, which was piled up by Taihu Stone brought back from Jiangnan by Putuo Mountain monks. It is named after the meaning of "multi-pagoda" in the torch tower.
The appearance of the tower is simple, steady and dignified, unlike the traditional tower in China. There are carved niches around each tower, which are dedicated to the sitting Buddha. It belongs to the Buddhist tantric style believed by ancient Mongolian rulers and has a very rich meta-style.
According to the investigation, there are only two such pagodas in China, and the other one is in Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang, so it also has high cultural relics value.
To the east of Duo Pagoda is Baibusha, a famous bathing beach in Putuo Mountain. The sand here is pure, the beach is beautiful and the waves are endless. If you have enough time, you might as well feel it.

Hello, tourists and friends! "If you win the mountain lake, push the West Lake; The victory of mountains and seas is to push Putuo. " Now we have come to Putuo Mountain, which is called "the Buddha Country at Sea" and "the Holy Land of the South China Sea". Putuo Mountain is a famous Guanyin Dojo, which is also known as the four famous Buddhist mountains with Wutai Mountain, Emei Mountain and Jiuhua Mountain. Putuo Mountain Buddhism has a long history, which was founded in the Tang Dynasty and is the Guanyin Dojo. During the reign of Emperor Taizong, Indian monks came to the mountains to worship Buddha. It is said that Guanyin appeared in Dong Chaoyin. In the fourth year of Tang Xiantong, Master Hua Hui, a Japanese monk, invited Guanyin statue to return home by boat from Wutai Mountain. When he took a boat to Lianhuayang near Putuo Mountain, he was blocked by wind and waves and hit a rock. He thought Guanyin refused to cross eastward, so he landed in Yin Chao Cave and built "Refusing to Go to Guanyin Temple", which became the beginning of Putuo Buddhism. Buddhism in Putuo Mountain developed rapidly in Song and Yuan Dynasties. In 967, Zhao Kuangyin sent eunuch Wang Gui on a pilgrimage to Putuo Mountain and presented him with a banner, which was the first time the imperial court made a pilgrimage to Putuo. In A.D. 1080, the court gave Baotuo Temple (now Si Qian) to Liang Yin. At that time, Japan, Korea and other countries came to China to do business and pay tribute, and they also began to admire climbing to worship Buddha, and Putuo Mountain gradually became famous. 1 13 1 year, abbot baotuo gannongji asked the court to allow him to change his dharma to Zen, and more than 700 fishermen on the mountain moved out, making putuo mountain a pure land of Buddhism. In 65438 AD, the court allocated funds to build Tongyuan Hall, and appointed Putuo Mountain as the Dojo of Guanyin.
In June of the third year of Yuan Dade (A.D. 1299), Yi Shan, the abbot of Baotuo Kannonji, was named Master of Miaoci Hongji. He took his credentials to Japan to preach Buddhism and make friends with Japan. Since then, the popularity of Mount Putuo has become increasingly far-reaching. Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty gave "Puji Qunling" to the front temple and "smallpox Fayu" to the back temple, from which "Fusaiji" and "Fayu Temple" were obtained. From the late Qing Dynasty to the eve of the Anti-Japanese War, Buddhism in Putuo Mountain reached its peak. Every year on February 19, June 19 and September 19, believers from all directions gather in the Buddhist country, and the Putuo Mountain is full of cigarettes and candles. Chanting scriptures and worshipping Buddha, staying up all night, its grand occasion is breathtaking. Every time Buddhists pray and worship Buddha, sometimes the sky is auspicious, which adds magic, sacredness and mystery to Putuo Mountain. Buddhist activities that lasted for more than 1000 years have accumulated profound Buddhist culture in Putuo Mountain, a beautiful pure land in Zhong Ling. Master Guanyin became attached to the four seas. "Everyone is Amitabha, and every household is Guanyin Bodhisattva." Guanyin belief is called "half Asian belief" by scholars.
Mount Putuo is surrounded by the sea and has beautiful scenery. As the only Buddhist resort on the sea among the four famous Buddhist mountains, it is known as "the first clean place on earth". In addition to the mysterious stupa cliffs and rocky trees, the island is rich in trees, with birds singing and flowers fragrant, including not only the ancient camphor tree which is nearly a thousand years old, but also the unique Putuo Goose Ear in China. White waves and fishing sails surround the island, and green peaks and quiet ancient temples surround Yin Tao Jinsha, forming a colorful picture.
"There is a fairy mountain on the sea, and the mountain is in nothingness." Putuo Mountain has become a famous tourist attraction at home and abroad because of its sacred position and beautiful natural scenery in Guanyin Dojo. I believe you can't wait to start this pilgrimage. Now, please bring the tourist guide and scenic spot guide words that we have carefully created for you, and walk into this Haitian Buddhist country with me. That's the end of my explanation. There are 16 Guanyin bodhisattvas with different costumes and shapes on both sides of the Guanyin in Pilu, which are called the Thirty-two Bodies of Guanyin. These are all images of Guanyin educating the world in different capacities. After visiting Fossett Hall, you can also visit many pagodas in the southeast. If you have enough time, you might as well feel it. Fayu Temple is the second largest temple in Putuo Mountain. Because it is located behind the largest temple, Fosaiji Mountain, it is also called Housi Temple. Buddhists believe that Buddhism nourishes all beings, just as rain covers all things, so there is the saying of dharma rain. Fayu Temple was originally built in the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty and experienced many disasters. In the thirty-eighth year of Kangxi, the emperor granted Fayu Temple, hence the name Fayu Temple. During the period of yongzheng emperor, it was expanded on a large scale, and Fayu Temple became a famous temple in southeast China because of its large-scale halls and pavilions. Looking at Fayu Temple from a distance, you will find that in the architectural layout, it adopts the method of climbing by mountains and rivers, and several halls rise step by step on the pedestal, with extraordinary momentum. The whole temple is covered with glazed tiles of sky blue, light green, goose yellow, purplish red and other colors, and thousands of colorful lights are reflected under the sunlight, forming a wonderful scene of Buddha's light shining, which gives people the feeling of a palace in the air from a distance. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, Kang Youwei once wrote that Jinping was facing the waves and the mountains and seas of Fayu Temple.
If you want to enter the Buddhist temple of Fayu Temple, you must first pass the lotus pond in front of the temple, which covers an area of about 65,438+0,800 square meters. It was built in the 18th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty. In history, Hangzhou Weaving Institute once presented the lotus seeds produced here as a tribute to the imperial court. There is a single-hole stone arch bridge on Lianchi, named Haihui Bridge. Haihui means that all buddhas and bodhisattvas get together, and its virtues are as deep and numerous as the vast and deep sea. Haihui Bridge divides the pond into east and west ponds. There are more than 50 kinds of designs such as various drama stories, birds and animals on the double-sided reliefs of the railings on both sides, which are beautifully carved and are the most exquisite stone carvings in Putuo Mountain. Walking through Lianchi, let's take a look at Zhaoqiang in Kowloon, a newly-built scenic spot at 1987. This nine-dragon wall is two meters high and has a total length of 12 meters. The lower wall is Sumi, with cornices on all sides and at the top. Seventeen dragons with different shapes were carved between Liang Shi and the upper Shi Zhuan, while the nine dragons on the middle slate held their heads high and danced for the dragon balls, which was lifelike. At first glance, it seems to be carved from a whole piece of bluestone, but if you are careful enough, you will find that it is actually carved and spliced by 60 pieces of high-quality bluestones with a square of 70 cm, and the splicing place is seamless and does not reveal traces, which has to make people admire its exquisite craftsmanship. After enjoying the Nine Dragon Wall, we visited the Jade Buddha Hall on the second floor of Fayu Temple through the Heavenly King Hall. It got its name because a white jade statue of Sakyamuni invited from Myanmar at the end of the Qing Dynasty was enshrined here, but it was destroyed in the Cultural Revolution. The Buddha statue now enshrined was invited from Yongle Palace in Beijing in 1985. On the platform railing behind the Jade Buddha Hall, there is a picture of Twenty-four Filial Pieties, which was carved during the Yongzheng period. The 24 dutiful sons in the picture, from the emperor to the people, embody the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation to respect and respect the elderly, and also witness the integration of Buddhism and Confucianism. Next, let's take a look at the most famous Kowloon Hall in Fayu Temple. According to the record of Putuo Mountain, in March of the 38th year of Kangxi, the emperor visited Hangzhou in the south, met the host of Fayu Temple, and ordered to demolish Jinling Ancient Temple, so he moved 654.38+200,000 glazed tiles of Nanjing Ming Palace to Putuo Mountain and built the Kowloon Hall with royal style.
Kowloon Hall has no beams and nails, which is a major feature of ancient architecture. Among them, the most distinctive one is the Kowloon Color Classic, which is a cultural relic preserved in the Ming Dynasty. Looking up, you can see a big ball hanging under Caijing, with Yi Long on the top and eight pillars around it, as if robbing this treasure, which constitutes the pattern of dragon playing with beads. It is lifelike and ingenious. It is said that this Kowloon algae well also has the function of fire prevention, because the dragon can spit water and the shape of the algae well can collect water, so if the prayer flags in front of the Buddha statue are accidentally lit by incense, Kowloon in the temple will spit water to put out the fire. Therefore, this Jiulong algae well has become the treasure of Putuo Mountain. The temple is dedicated to the 10-meter-high statue of Guanyin in Pilu, so it is also called guanyin temple in Kowloon. On both sides of the Guanyin statue, there are eighteen arhats in asceticism, and on the other side of the hall, there is a spectacular "Island Guanyin Map". In the middle of the picture, the good-natured Guanyin Bodhisattva stands on the back of a huge rock fish, with a clean bottle in one hand and Yang Liuzhi in the other. The pure bottle in the hands of the Bodhisattva and Yang Liuzhi originally meant to spread the dharma rain and promote the dharma, but later they evolved into various meanings. People believe that Yang Liuzhi can eliminate disasters and diseases. The nectar in a clean bottle and Yang Liuzhi spread all over the world. This is a metaphor for the merciful Guanyin to help all beings get rid of their pain and reach the other side of heaven with clean water. There are buildings such as heaven and dragon palace in this painting. The layout of the whole picture is reasonable, and the characters are full and lifelike.
