When is reading day in China?

Reading Day in China is September 28th every year.

CPPCC members suggested that the State Council decide to set up a "national reading festival" or a "national reading festival" in order to carry out extensive, in-depth and lasting national reading activities. September 28th is Confucius' birthday, and the designation of Confucius' birthday as "National Reading Festival" not only reflects the tradition and characteristics of China culture, but also helps to attract worldwide attention and recognition.

Led by the National Office of Chinese Teaching and Promotion, Confucius Institutes around the world are organized to hold activities to commemorate Confucius' birthday on September 28th every year and to carry out activities to read China.
