Appreciation of Crossing the Yellow River

It only takes a moment to pour the milky way.

There are more risks in the world. It is said that the Yellow River is a frightening road. The first two sentences of this poem push the turbid waves of the Yellow River out of the sky in the hope that the Milky Way will pour down in the sky as a foil, trying to describe its sinister; The last two sentences say that human feelings are more sinister than the turbid waves of the Yellow River, so it should not be said that the Yellow River is afraid of the road. This poem uses the method of contrast to describe the understanding of social life, which is very profound, contains the feelings of injustice at that time, and sends out the voices of poverty, loneliness and anger, with mature style and vigorous brushwork.

The first two sentences say that once people come to the magnificent bank of the Yellow River, they will inevitably be frightened by the mysterious legend of "pouring the Milky Way". The poet despises such a timid person very much. Naturally, crossing the Yellow River is dangerous, but "lifting the sky and making waves" is only a matter of "a moment". In the eternal time and space, human life is like a boat in the rapids: when the waves of life are overwhelming, no one can predict in advance, and no one can know when this disaster will last. Song Wan was once a poet with a high reputation. He was the top scholar in high school in his early years, and he also benefited a lot when he was an official, which won the love of the people. But I didn't want to be framed, so that I was "immediately arrested and imprisoned" and "tied my wife". During my three years in prison, I was in danger of an accident. No wonder he used the topic of "crossing the Yellow River" to give a heavy sigh that "the world is full of risks".

The last two sentences write that the Yellow River is surging and flowing. The ancients didn't know its birthplace and thought it was the Milky Way in the sky, so they called it "how the water of the Yellow River moved out of the sky". It has waves that lift the sky, but it won't take long to get through it. The risk of wind and waves is very short and can usually be crossed. The real risk is in the world. In the sinister world, ordinary people are used to the life of intrigue, intrigue, jackals, darkness, injustice and unconsciousness, but they have not yet realized its sinister nature. On the contrary, they say that the dangerous waves of the Yellow River are the most terrible, and they dare not spend them.

Song Wan believes that poets live in poverty, feel "sad" and tend to be "sad and generous". (Preface to Dong Shi) The Yellow River is a dangerous road, but whether it is "pouring into the Milky Way" or "blowing up the sky and creating the earth", it is insignificant in the eyes of the poet compared with the life path full of intrigue. The poet wrote his understanding of social life in a comparative way, which is very profound, contains feelings of harm to the world, and sends out voices of poverty, loneliness and anger. His poetic style is mature and vigorous, which shows one aspect of his poetic style.
