The College of Food Science and Technology was formerly the Department of Food Science. In 2000, the College of Food Science and Technology was established, which consists of four departments: Food Science and Engineering Department, Bioengineering Department, Food Analysis and Nutrition Department and Packaging Engineering Department. The college has four undergraduate majors: food science and engineering, bioengineering, packaging engineering, food quality and safety, and microbiology application technology. There are four master's degree authorized majors in agricultural products processing and storage engineering, microbiology, fermentation engineering and food science, and the provincial key construction discipline of "agricultural products processing and storage engineering". The cultivation of students is mainly based on undergraduate education, while vigorously developing postgraduate education. At present, there are more than 0/000 undergraduate students and nearly 100 master students.
