The lake stores stagnant Fen River water, rainwater and gray water treated by sewage treatment plants that meet the standards, and the water storage reaches 700,000 cubic meters. Looking around, it is better than Jiangnan. The park takes landscape, vegetation, and architecture as its themes, forming landscapes and attractions such as the main entrance, the island in the middle of the lake, Qingming Garden, Fushou Mountain, wooden plank roads, and wetland plants. There are 160 species of trees, shrubs, aquatic plants, and ground cover plants planted in the park. There are mountains and mountains of trees, layers of forests, lakes and mountains, gurgling water, and colorful flowers.

The park’s landscape construction formally integrates the city’s culture into it, and uses modern construction techniques to showcase Jiexiu’s history and civilization. Qingming Garden is a garden within a garden, with the purpose of highlighting the Qingming culture and Jiexiu Qingming cold food culture as the main line. The stone carvings and pavilions are integrated with the surrounding natural and cultural landscapes, the black and white moon gate, and the original thatched house. It allows tourists to feel the splendid culture of Jiexiu while sightseeing. The newly built Miaoying Tower and Yuxiang Bridge invested by private enterprises Antai Group and Luxin Group have been put into use and open to tourists. The new sculpture square "Qingming Cultural Square" invested by Kaijia Group and reflects the culture of the Three Sages has also been completed. The construction of the wetland park beautifies the environment, improves the climate of the surrounding area, regulates the humidity of the air, and brings certain ecological and social effects.

Since the establishment of the park, migratory birds such as red shelduck, yellow-headed stilts, and black-winged stilts have stopped briefly in the wetland park during their migration. The Wetland Park has three major wetland categories and four wetland types: river wetland, swamp wetland and artificial wetland. The river in the park has abundant water and is an important stopping place for birds during their migration in my country. A large number of waterbirds stop, inhabit and feed here during their migration every spring and autumn. There are 292 species of plant resources and 120 species of wild animal resources in the park, including 9 species of national second-level key protected animals such as gray cranes and sparrow hawks, and the province's key protected animals such as pond herons.

In 2017, it passed the acceptance of the State Forestry Administration and was officially approved to become a national wetland park.
