On June 26, 2021, the Guangxi Natural Resources Museum, covering an area of ??about 25 acres and an exhibition area of ??6,000 square meters, opened for trial operation. This is the only special museum in our region that collects natural resource objects and archival materials.

The museum has exhibition halls such as the Earth Hall, Paleontology Hall, Mineral Resources Hall, Geological Environment Hall, Land Surveying and Mapping Hall, Marine Resources Hall, and Jewelry and Jade Hall, which mainly collect and exhibit Exquisite minerals, paleontological fossils, jewelry, jade, meteorites and other precious specimens are on display covering the key protection areas of natural resources such as Guangxi’s mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes and seas. The museum consists of a main building and a popular science square, which displays more than 3,000 specimens from more than 30 countries. The popular science square displays extremely large specimens such as the Longsheng talc mine, Guilin chicken blood jade, stalactites, and Liuzhou traditional Chinese painting stones.

Visiting time:

The basic exhibitions of the Guangxi Natural Resources Archives Museum are free and open to the public. Visitors can make an appointment to visit the museum from the official website or WeChat official account.

Opening hours: 9:30-16:30 every Wednesday to Sunday, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (except legal holidays.
