In order to better conserve aquatic biological resources, protect biodiversity, and promote the sustainability of our county’s fisheries development and ecological civilization construction, in accordance with the "Fisheries Law of the People's Republic of China", the "Implementation Measures of Henan Province" and other laws and regulations, and the "Notice of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Henan Province on the Implementation of the Fishing Closed Period System in 2022", "Nanyang City Notice of the Nanyang Municipal Public Security Bureau of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau and the Nanyang Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau on the Implementation of the 2022 Spring Fishing Closed Period System. The relevant matters related to the implementation of the spring fishing ban system in our county in 2022 are now announced as follows:

1. Fishing ban time: from 0:00 on March 1, 2022 to 24:00 on June 30, 2022.

2. No-fishing areas: natural waters such as rivers and reservoirs in our county.

3. Prohibited types of operations: Fishing operations other than recreational fishing are prohibited. Only one rod, one line and one hook per person is allowed for recreational fishing.

4. During the fishing ban period, the harvesting of natural fishery resources for scientific research, domestication and breeding and other activities must be approved by the fishery authorities at or above the provincial level.

5. Crack down on illegal fishing activities that damage aquatic biological resources such as electrofishing, fried fish, poisonous fish, and unlicensed fishing throughout the year; prohibit the purchase, processing, sale, and use of illegal fishing catches; prohibit the use of illegal fishing; Promotional and marketing activities using "wild fish" and "wild fresh fish" as gimmicks in product trading markets, catering and other industries; it is prohibited to publish advertisements and other activities containing the above prohibited content; it is prohibited to illegally fish; it is prohibited to buy and sell recreational fishing catches, otherwise Considered as illegal fishing.

6. Anyone who violates the provisions of this notice shall be punished by the agriculture and rural areas, public security and market supervision and management departments in accordance with relevant laws and regulations; if a crime is suspected, the person shall be transferred to the judicial authority for investigation of criminal responsibility.

Any unit or individual must strictly abide by the provisions of this notice and have the obligation to report any behavior that violates the provisions of this notice.
