Introduction of Chongqing Library

Chongqing Library was founded in 1947, with a collection of more than 3 million books. It is the most comprehensive, preserved and complete library in China during the Anti-Japanese War. It is also the library with the largest collection of ancient books and thread-bound books in southwest China and one of the two earliest United Nations document depository libraries in China. Chongqing Library is a large comprehensive public library in China, and it is the main document information collection, exchange and service center in Chongqing. In 29, Chongqing Library took the lead in implementing free opening in the western region, and created a number of influential service brands, such as lectures on re-maps, exhibitions on re-maps, reading activities for children with sun flowers, and services for the visually impaired.
