A tutorial on how to make bookmarks.

1. Cut a piece of cardboard into a rectangle of 2 times 6(5. 1 times 15.2 cm).

2. Draw a picture on the rectangle of the paper box to add design elements. Draw the outline of a picture with a pencil, and then color it with a marker, colored pencil or crayon. You can draw anything you want on the bookmark!

If you want the collage on the bookmark, you can stick it on the paper-cut or picture with glue. Cut out shapes from building paper or cardboard, cut out pictures from magazines, or decorate bookmarks with your own photos. Apply a little white glue to the back of the paper-cut or painting, and then press it on the bookmark.

4. Add an inspiring quotation mark to make your bookmark more meaningful. Use your bookmark as a reminder to help you keep a positive attitude! Choose an inspiring quote or message and write it on the bookmark with colored pencil, crayon or marker.

Punch a hole at one end of the bookmark and tie a ribbon on it to increase its talent. To do extra decoration on the bookmark, you can use a single-hole punch to punch a hole about 0.64 cm at the end of the bookmark. Cut a ribbon about 20 cm long, insert it into the hole and tie it in a bow.
