Guniujiang is one of the three highs (Huangshan, Qingliangfeng and Guniujiang) in southern Anhui. Needless to say, there are old forests everywhere, and the bay is full of treasures. Guniujiang is famous for its strength, strangeness and danger. It is the main part of Huangshan Mountain extending westward. It was called "West Huangshan Mountain" in ancient times. The mountain scenery is beautiful. There are 36 big peaks, 72 small peaks, 36 big forks and 72 small forks in the territory. Because its mountain shape resembles a guniujiang from the sky, it is named guniujiang.

It is suggested that the tourist route should go clockwise, that is, Longmen Lake-Quanshan Bridge-mainstay-Jasper Lake-pastoral scenery-ecological tea garden-bamboo sea listening to waves-Lover Valley-four waterfalls-Yan Jia ancient village-slogan wall-ancient forest.

So walking clockwise is basically climbing the mountain in the first half and going down the mountain in the second half. The whole journey is about 6.5 kilometers, and it takes about 2.5 hours at normal speed.

According to the local people, I rode a green cow and traveled around the world, preaching and teaching. Green cow sighed at the sky, opened her eyes, spread her hooves, and took off, pressing the strange bird tightly under her. Thousands of years later, the green cow turned into a mountain, and the feathers of strange birds turned into many strange pine trees. Therefore, people call this mountain "Gunniujiang".

Guniujiang is divided into five scenic spots: main peak scenic spot, lingshan scenic spot scenic spot, Shuanglong Valley scenic spot, Longmen scenic spot and Kannonji scenic spot. The first four of them are located in shitai county, and Kannonji Scenic Area is located in Qimen County.

Known by ecologists as "Green Nature Museum" and "Gene Bank of Wildlife Population", it has also been recognized as "China's original ecological preferred tourist destination" by the diplomatic envoys of 32 countries in China.

Among all the scenic spots in Guniujiang, the four waterfalls are a highlight. Standing in the jungle halfway up the mountain, you can see the waterfall from a distance, like a huge four-fold white horse hanging straight from the cliff, and the snow is like jade, as if falling from the sky.

Walking through the mountains, you can see clear pools of different sizes, crystal clear, corresponding pools and waterfalls, and hazy mountain colors, such as ink and wash landscapes.

Accommodation suggestion: It takes about 2.5 hours to drive from Chizhou high-speed railway station to Shitai Guniujiang (including transit). It is inconvenient to live in Chizhou, so it is suggested to live directly in shitai county when planning the trip. It takes half an hour from shitai county to the scenic spot, and the bus has a departure time.

If you are a photographer and like to shoot the beautiful scenery of sunrise, sunset and morning fog, living on the edge of the scenic spot is the best choice.
