2. many v.s.lot "many" is mainly used with "countable nouns"; "lot" is used with "uncountable nouns"

Former. I have many dresses, many of which are white.

I don't know how many clothes I have, but I can figure out how many clothes are white.

3. put v.s.keep "keep" means to hold and maintain; "Putting" mainly refers to placing something.

I will keep the book Exodus for a week. I will keep this book for a week.

4. static verbs v.s. action verbs are usually used to express uncontrollable States such as emotions and feelings, so there will be no present continuous tense.

Error: For example. I like it.

Former. I feel the heat.

Correct: ex. I like it.
