Boxfish-style Mercedes-Benz:

The Mercedes-Benz in the picture looks like a boxfish. The boxfish is a hard-scale fish that lives in tropical areas and swims very fast. "Its skeleton is rectangular, very similar to a car," explained Daimler, who led a scientific team to analyze the fish's skeletal features, including its armored, hard outer skin. You know, this skin can hide the secret of the boxfish's swimming speed. Due to its small size and built-in direct-injection diesel engine, this Mercedes-Benz can reach a speed of 113 kilometers per gallon of gasoline.

Squid Robot:

The Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at Osaka University in Japan designed this "squid robot". The housing units are built one on top of another and are designed based on the organic composition of the coral reef.

How was the building frame in the picture above created with the help of marine mammal bones? A "radiolar" project conducted by the University of Kassel in Germany answered this question. This study examines the stability of mammalian skeletal structures and their aesthetic value as a 3D modeling software.
