1. Xiaoxitian

Xiaoxitian was first built in the 33rd year of Qianlong’s reign in the Qing Dynasty (1768); In the 35th year of Qianlong's reign (1770), it was built by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty to pray for the birthday of his mother, the Empress Dowager Xiaosheng.

The main building is Elysium, with a total area of ??1,200 square meters and a beam span of 13.5 meters. It is the largest square pavilion palace building in China. The windows and nan fans on all sides of the palace have fine patterns. A gold plaque is hung with the inscription "Ultimate World" written by Emperor Qianlong, and above it is the golden octagonal dome dragon caisson.

2. Iron Shadow Wall

A relic of the Yuan Dynasty, the wall is brown in color and is carved from neutral volcanic conglomerate. Because its color and texture resemble iron, it is called Iron Shadow Wall. The wall is 1.89 meters high and 3.56 meters long. Both sides are lightly carved with cloud patterns and exotic animals, and the carvings are simple and rich.

The Iron Shadow Wall was originally a screen wall in front of an ancient temple outside Jiandemen (now Deshengmen). In the early Ming Dynasty, the wall was moved to the front of Desheng Temple in Deshengmen (today's Tieyingbi Hutong). In the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), the wall was moved to Beihai Park. In 1986, Beihai Park retrieved the base from Tieyingbi Hutong, thus restoring this cultural relic.

3. Huafangzhai

Located on the east coast of Beihai, it was built in the 22nd year of Qianlong’s reign in the Qing Dynasty (1757). It is an independent courtyard hidden in the mountains and forests. The front hall is the "Spring Rain Pond" with a pool in the middle, and the north is the main hall "Huafangzhai".

There is a courtyard in the east and west, "Coca Courtyard" in the east and "Xiao Linglong" in the west. The entire Huafangzhai is surrounded by vermilion corridors, with exquisite structure and unique environment. It looks like a large ship moored by the Beihai Lake. Its shape and name were originally quoted from Ouyang Xiu's "Huafangzhai Ji".

4. Qionghua Island

Referred to as Qiongdao, because there is a white pagoda built on the island, it is also commonly known as "Baita Mountain". The island is 32 meters high and has a circumference of 913 meters. Qionghua means gorgeous jade, so the island is named after it, indicating that the island is a fairyland treasure island built with beautiful jade. According to myths and legends, Qionghua is the flower of the Qiong tree (hua means flower), which grows on the Penglai Fairy Island. People who eat it can live forever. This also means that the island is built after the fairyland of Yaochi.

5. Yong'an Bridge

The predecessor was a wooden bridge in the Yuan Dynasty. It was called "Taiye Bridge" in the Ming Dynasty. In the eighth year of Qianlong's reign (1743), it was rebuilt into a three-zigzag and three-hole arch bridge. The stone bridge has 48 pillars on both sides. In 1979, the Yongan Bridge was comprehensively repaired and reinforced. The entire bridge deck was updated and 88 new lotus-shaped pillars and lotus leaf pattern guardrails were installed.
