The 9th Eighth Route Army Cultural Tourism Festival 2019 opens on July 3

The 9th Eighth Route Army Cultural Tourism Festival will be held in the coming July! This event is also part of a series of events to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of China! Wuxiang County holds the Eighth Route Army cultural tourism event every year. As of this year, it is the ninth event. Let’s take a look at what exciting activities there will be!

Wuxiang is a red land, a land of heroes. Every village here has lived with the Eighth Route Army, and every household has had soldiers. Wuxiang has a long history, splendid culture, beautiful scenery and charming scenery. Wuxiang is located in the essence of the 800-mile Taihang Mountain fault zone, with majestic peaks and fascinating natural scenery. There are Chongcheng Mountain with thousands of cliffs, Banshan Mountain known as the roof of Shangdang, the former site of the Eighth Route Army Headquarters Zhuanbi, and the former site of Wangjiayu. Wuxiang currently has the only large-scale revolutionary museum in the country that comprehensively reflects the historical facts of the Eighth Route Army's Anti-Japanese War - the Eighth Route Army Taihang Memorial Hall.

Wuxiang County has successively won the titles of National Sanitary City, National Garden County, National Ecological Civilization Advanced County, China’s Green County, China’s Excellent Tourism Destination, National All-Area Tourism Demonstration Area, National Red Tourism Key County, China Red landmark and other honorary titles.
