Baoding College is two universities and a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education.

The school's predecessor was Baoding Junior Normal School, which was founded in 1904. 19 10 was renamed zhili second junior normal school, and 1928 was renamed Hebei provincial second normal school. In 2007, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed Baoding College.
