Suzhou Hard Pen Calligraphy Association held a New Year group meeting.

On the morning of June 5438 +20221October 22, on the occasion of the coming of the Year of the Tiger, the Spring Festival group meeting of Suzhou Hard Pen Calligraphy Association was held grandly. The presidium of the Association, representatives of board members and guests from all walks of life, vice-chairmen Liu Bingwu, Xu Wenlong, Wang Ya and Zhang Jing (female), and board members Liu Daofa, Wu Wenbin, Wang Shiyi, Lei Xiuxin and Wu Xuejun attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Mr. Li Wenkai, Chairman of Suzhou Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, summarized the work of the association in 20021and made arrangements for the work in the new year. Secretary General Zheng made a work report and a work plan for 2022. During the meeting, an activity of writing Spring Festival couplets to the public was held. Calligraphers wrote more than 300 couplets on the spot and gave them to community residents as Spring Festival gifts.

It is a social organization legal person approved by the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and registered by the Civil Affairs Bureau, aiming at popularizing the knowledge of hard-pen calligraphy and improving the writing level of Chinese characters in the whole society.

On the occasion of the implementation of the "double reduction" policy, the Association will actively hold the city-wide hard-pen calligraphy competition in the new year, and organize meaningful and popular hard-pen calligraphy popularization activities such as works award, calligraphy exchange, public lectures and calligraphy entering the community and campus, so as to contribute to the promotion of China traditional culture!
