Measures to prevent electricity theft of single-phase electricity meters

1. When installing the meter, try to unify the colors of the wires, and wires of different colors should be connected to different phase wires. And absolutely ensure that terminal 1 of the meter is the live wire and 3 is the neutral wire. After the incoming line is installed, in order to prevent some users from secretly disconnecting the main neutral line for private grounding purposes, use a test pen to measure whether there is any induction current at terminals 3 and 4 of the incoming line. If not, it means that the line is normal. If there is, it may be The main line to the meter has been disconnected. You need to find out the location of the break immediately and analyze whether it was artificially disconnected based on the break point. If it is artificially disconnected, the user will be listed as a key investigation target. If everything is normal, connect the meter terminals. After the wires are connected, turn all the terminal screws and the meter connection screws again. And make sure it is firmly connected.

2. Cover the meter terminal cover and seal it. When sealing, thread the sealing line and tie a knot, try to shorten the sealing line, move the sealing block to the knotted area, and tie the seal. Choose a thin paper seal, write the user's name and paste it on.

3. Check whether the user's leakage protector can disconnect the power supply normally. If it is damaged, it must be replaced immediately. If normal, use a test pen to measure whether the two terminals of the outlet wire are one zero and one fire. Disconnect the power supply and connect it to the user's home wiring, then turn on the switch to see if the power supply is normal. If the leakage protector fails to close, it means there is a problem with the wiring in the user's home, and the user's wiring should be checked. Don't not install it because you are afraid of trouble, otherwise two results may occur, and both of these reasons will cause the Taiwan District General Insurance to be unable to be put into operation:

(1) The user's home is privately installed with ground wires to steal electricity.

(2) A fault in the user's home wiring may cause a safety accident.

4. For stations that do not have leakage protectors installed, they should prepare their own leakage protectors to check user lines.

5. Check the meter box to see if it is intact or defective. If it is not sealed. When sealing, thread the sealing line and tie a knot, try to shorten the sealing line, move the sealing block to the knotted area, and tie the seal. Choose a relatively thin paper seal, write the user's name, the location number of the station and the electricity usage slogan and paste it on. And promote some basic knowledge about electricity usage to users.

6. After the meter is cleaned, it is time to conduct monthly inspections. As a Taiwan area manager, the task is not completed just by collecting the electricity bill. The most important thing is to manage the station area well to improve line losses and ensure safety. 7. When reading the meter every month, focus on checking whether the lead seal and paper seal of the meter are damaged. Is there anything on the main line that shouldn't be there?
