1. Supervise the subordinate units of the Ministry of Public Security, public security organs at lower levels and their people's police to perform their duties, exercise their functions and powers and observe discipline according to law;

2. Review and deploy the work of police inspectors of public security organs nationwide;

3. Issue decisions and orders of police supervision of public security organs;

4. Examining and approving the annual plan and implementation report of police inspectors;

5. Regularly listen to the work report of the Police Supervision Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security;

6. Other functions and powers that shall be exercised by the board of supervisors.

Legal basis: Police Supervision Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China Article 3 The Ministry of Public Security has an inspector general, who is a deputy leader of the Ministry of Public Security. The public security organs of local people's governments at or above the county level shall have a procurator-general, who shall be concurrently the chief executive of the public security organ.
