When is the fishing festival?

In the coastal areas of China, in order to save fishery resources and promote the development of local tourism, a cultural festival celebration was born, usually held in mid-September.

Many areas in China have similar festivals, such as Xiangshan Fishing Festival, Zhoushan Fishing Festival and Jiangchuan Fishing Festival. The more famous ones are Xiangshan Fishing Festival, also known as China Fishing Festival and Shipu Fishing Festival. China Fishing Festival was founded in 1998 and has been successfully held for thirteen times. In 2007, it won the top ten brand festivals in China, ranked first in the "Most Concerned Local Festival in 2008" organized by People's Daily, and won the organization award in the first China Festival Award.
