The full name of the school is Dongfanghong Primary School in Dongxihu District of Wuhan, which is a beautiful place. The school now covers an area of 16576 square meters, with a building area of 2 105 square meters. The school was formerly Caiyang Primary School, which was founded in 1950. The school is located in Yangjiatai. The school building was washed away because of the 1954 flood. 1955 primary school was rebuilt, the school site was moved to Chenjiatai, and it was renamed as Farm Primary School. During the Cultural Revolution, it was renamed Dongfanghong Primary School. 1969 dongfanghong middle school was established in the farm, and the middle school and the primary school were in the same place. 1972 Primary School was managed and rebuilt by Dongfanghong Brigade, renamed Dongfanghong Brigade Primary School, and moved to Zhangjiatai of Dongfanghong Brigade. 1995 The farm reorganized its educational resources, merged the original Xinhua Brigade Primary School with it, and moved the school to its current location, renamed it Dongfanghong Central Primary School. In 2003, the district education bureau merged the farm school, and the school was separated from the farm and officially renamed Dongfanghong Primary School.
