Liu Hu, born in 1974, is an ordinary farmer in Dongxiaokou Village, Dongxiaokou Town, Changping District, Beijing. He and his wife Yao Hui have a son. He used to farm, work part-time, and open a computer repair department in his spare time. He lived a harmonious and happy life, which is enviable. An accidental act of kindness led him to embark on the road of charity.

One day in the first half of 2007, he went to the school where his son was studying to pay tuition for his son. He happened to meet several volunteers who were raising student funds for a child whose parents had died. He did not hesitate to donate all of his just-paid month's salary. I learned that the out-of-school child was already sitting in the classroom studying with peace of mind. For the first time in his life, he felt how happy it was to help others!

In the second half of 2007, Liu Hu was responsible for the security work in Dongxiaokou Village. He saw that many children, although their family conditions were excellent, could not grow up healthily. Later, he learned from the student aid website that there were many children from poor families in mountainous areas who were facing dropping out of school. He became extremely anxious. Later, he came into contact with some migrant children who lacked skills and had no sense of direction. He saw it in his eyes and felt pain in his heart! So the idea of ??"teaching a man to fish" came up, and he went to the mountainous areas to take the most disadvantaged children back home to live together, eat and live together, send them to school, and learn computer repair skills in their spare time. When you become an adult, you can earn your own living, or you can open a training department like him to lead more people and help more people. His wife is loving and reasonable, and Liu Hu's proposal was quickly approved. With the help of the Student Aid Network, he took several of the poorest children from Laiyuan in Hebei, Linyi in Shandong, and Yuanping in Shanxi to his home, arranged food and accommodation, and contacted the school. The principal of the school for migrant children accepted these children voluntarily without hesitation. He works as a joint defense team member and his salary is only 500 yuan. He usually relies on computer training and maintenance to support his family. With the arrival of the children, expenses increased, so Liu Hu's mother used the rent from her house to support her son's loving actions.

With the arrival of children, problems also arise. It turns out that there is only one son, who can gather all the love and affection in one person. Now the parents' love is diverted, and the son starts to get emotional. When there are more people, the wife is responsible for daily affairs such as food and daily life, purchasing items, and relationship coordination. She is often so busy that she doesn't even have time to talk.

In addition to doing safety work, Liu Hu also became the "parent" and teacher of the children, teaching them computer knowledge and operating techniques step by step. Because he did not understand, the neighbors in the village began to ridicule him. They even said that he was sick and was messing around trying to become famous. His health was deteriorating, but he withstood the criticism and faced the difficulties. Today, Liu Hu has received more than 20 children who have been raised and trained by his family. Many children are already able to support themselves. The eldest child has already opened a branch in Laiyuan, Hebei.

They live together in harmony. They call Liu Hu "Uncle Tiger". In their minds, Uncle Tiger is closer than their father. Nowadays, fruit prices remain high. In order to supplement nutrition for his children, he always told his wife not to pay too much attention to the price of fruits. And he was suffering from serious illness, but he was reluctant to spend a penny on himself. Children often volunteer to repair computers and set up network cables for fellow villagers, friends, institutions, and schools. As time passed, the neighbors also changed their initial views, and many people also participated voluntarily.

Over the years, Liu Hu has made countless trips to the Laiyuan Mountain area. Once, after a few hours' drive, we reached the mountains. The mountain road is rugged and can only be walked. Regardless of his frail body, he and several local volunteers traveled over mountains and ridges, and finally met 13 children who were out of school. Seeing the innocent and helpless children living in poverty, Liu Hu made up his mind to help them realize their dream of going to school.

After struggling for most of the day, Liu Hu felt that his body could not support himself.

After returning to Beijing, his health improved slightly, and he began running around to raise funds for charity. With the help of everyone, 13 children were quickly rescued.

As the number of people seeking help increases, Liu Hu helps more and more children, with more than 200 recipients so far. In addition to the tuition fee of 800 yuan per person, the children can also receive clothes, stationery, etc. donated by caring people in Beijing. When Liuhu arrived in the mountainous area loaded with relief supplies, the children all burst into tears.

A few years ago, he discovered that there were many lonely elderly people in the Laiyuan Mountain area. In mountainous rural areas, firewood is used for cooking and kangs are burned for heating. If a lonely old man has three long and two shortcomings, he will not be able to burn firewood, cook, or make a kang. The temperature is low in winter, and no one takes care of them. No one even knows if they freeze or starve to death. Liu Hu had a long chat with the old man and found that the old man missed the cooperative in the past very much. He felt that setting up a "loving and mutual aid home" to help these elderly people was a top priority.

As soon as the Spring Festival this year, Liu Hu took the 10,000 yuan and donated materials he had scraped together and drove straight to Laiyuan. In an unused yard provided by local volunteers, they changed doors and windows, pulled out wires, and got busy. The hard work paid off, and a month later, a warm home appeared in front of people. Liu Hu asked volunteers to take the old man to the county town to take a bath and put on new clothes. The old people happily moved into their homes. One of them said with tears: "I didn't expect that we have been alone all our lives. Who knew that in the end, we would be able to enjoy the warmth of a big family..."
