Internal organizations of the Gansu Provincial Department of Justice

The Gansu Provincial Department of Justice has 8 internal agencies and political departments:

(1) Office.

Formulate development plans and annual plans for the province’s judicial administration and supervise their implementation; be responsible for the investigation and synthesis of the work of the province’s judicial administration system; be responsible for the coordination, arrangement and supervision of major government affairs activities; be responsible for comprehensive Drafting and reviewing of sexual documents and reports; Responsible for the daily operation of documents, conference affairs, confidential documents, archives and other organs; Responsible for information, confidentiality, statistics, petition work; Responsible for the comprehensive coordination of prisons and labor camps, and guiding the province's judicial and administrative communications Information technology network construction; organize news release work; be responsible for the handling of NPC proposals and CPPCC proposals; be responsible for relevant foreign affairs work.

(2) Legal Publicity Department.

Formulate the province's legal publicity work plan, organize and implement citizens' popular legal knowledge education; guide and inspect the work of governing according to law; be responsible for the daily work of the provincial leading group office for governing the province according to law; be responsible for the external publicity of the judicial administration system.

(3) Lawyer Notarization Work Management Office.

Formulate the province’s lawyer and notarization work plans and annual plans and organize their implementation; guide and supervise the legal advisory work of government agencies, groups, enterprises and institutions; formulate corporate legal advisor training plans and organize their implementation; comprehensive management Social legal service agency; in accordance with relevant regulations and procedures, responsible for the establishment, approval, change registration and cancellation of law firms across the province; responsible for the review, issuance and cancellation of lawyer practice licenses and lawyer practice certificates across the province; for lawyers and law firms , Lawyers Association to provide supervision and guidance; to review and approve the establishment of notary institutions in accordance with legal provisions and procedures; to be responsible for the appointment review of practicing notaries, the issuance of notary practice certificates and the application for the removal of notaries; to conduct supervision on notarial institutions, notaries and notary associations Supervision and guidance.

(4) Legal Aid Work Management Office.

Execute relevant national laws, regulations and policies, guide, supervise and manage the development of legal aid work in the province; formulate laws, regulations and normative documents for legal aid work in the province, manage and guide the work of social organizations Legal aid work; responsible for the management, supervision and use of special funds for central and provincial legal aid, carrying out social legal aid fund raising work; undertaking the assignment of defense lawyers for second-instance death penalty cases in the court, and guiding and coordinating the handling of major legal aid cases across the province ; Responsible for the annual inspection and registration, business training, commendation and punishment of legal aid institutions and case handling personnel in the province; accepting and reviewing objections raised by legal aid applicants; responsible for statistical analysis and theoretical research of legal aid data in the province, and organizing and carrying out social publicity of legal aid ; Carry out external exchanges and cooperation in legal aid.

(5) Grassroots Work Office (Gansu Provincial Leading Group Office for Resettlement and Education of Ex-convicts).

Guide and supervise grass-roots judicial offices, judicial assistants, people's mediation, grass-roots legal services, and community corrections; guide and supervise the education and placement of persons released from prison and persons released from reeducation through labor; participate in comprehensive social security Governance work.

(6) Forensic Authentication Management Office (Gansu Provincial Forensic Authentication Working Committee Office).

(7) Legal Affairs Department.

Organize the formulation and implementation of the province's judicial administrative regulations, rules, and policies; participate in relevant legislative work; be responsible for the review and filing of the system's normative documents; guide and supervise the execution of prison sentences, reform of criminals, and reeducation through labor; Supervise and inspect the province's judicial administration system's implementation and compliance with laws and regulations, be responsible for administrative penalties, administrative reconsideration and administrative response work in this system; be responsible for the registration management of arbitration institutions; organize and carry out legal theoretical research.

(8) Planning, Finance and Equipment Department.

Formulate annual plans for special funds and equipment for the province's judicial administration system and organize their implementation; guide and supervise the management and use of business funds and extra-budgetary funds of the judicial administration system; manage firearms, ammunition, and clothing in the judicial administration system , police vehicles and other materials and equipment; manage and supervise the national debt construction projects of the judicial administration system; be responsible for the state-owned assets, property management, logistics support and reception of the department agencies and units directly under the department.

The Political Department (including the Personnel Department, the Police Training Department, and the Organization and Publicity Department).

Responsible for the organizational establishment and personnel management of the province's judicial administrative agencies and directly affiliated units; responsible for the provincial Prison Administration Bureau, the Provincial Labor Reeducation Work Administration Bureau, and the deputy director level and above cadres of provincial prisons and labor camps. Responsible for assessment, appointment and dismissal, etc.; Responsible for approval of business trips abroad; Responsible for guiding the work of veteran cadres in the judicial administration system; Responsible for inspecting co-management cadres and proposing appointments and dismissals, and exchanging opinions. Responsible for the police management of the people's police in the province's judicial administration system and cooperating with police inspection work; responsible for guiding the training of cadres in the province's judicial administration system; formulating cadre training plans and organizing their implementation.
