Where is the ancient well in yuechi county?

Gu Jing, yuechi county is a cultural relic protection unit in Nanchang County.

Yuechi county Gujing, formerly known as Wan Li Gujing, is located in the south of yuechi county Village, Shang Gang Town. The words "Wan Li belongs to □□□□□□□□ Dan" are engraved on the upper part and the west side of the well circle, which proves that this well was dug in the next year's Wanli period. On the northeast side of the well circle, there is another inscription "Guangxu Renchen Reconstruction"; On the southeast side of the well circle, the official script "Yin San Jian Xiu in the first year of the Republic of China" was engraved; The words "1968 minor repair" are engraved on the east side of the well circle.

The well circle is made of powder yellow sandstone. Due to the long service time, the well circle is seriously worn. Most of the well circles are less than 45 cm in height and about 5 meters in depth. There is water, but it is no longer used.

Gu Jing is located in the south of yuechi county Village, Shang Gang Town, and gutang is in the north of yuechi county Village. About 80 meters to the west is Hou Wen Expressway. Yuechi county Village has turned "yuechi county Ancient Well" and its surroundings into a leisure place.

On July 20, 2000, Nanchang County People's Government listed it as the second batch of cultural relics protection units in Nanchang County.
