Introduction to Shaoxing Rice Wine

Shaoxing old wine has a great reputation and was rated as one of the top ten famous products in the country during the Qing Dynasty. At the 1910 Nanyang Entrepreneurship Conference, the 1915 Panama International Exposition in the United States, and the 1936 Zhejiang and Jiangxi Specialty Products Exhibition, he won gold medals and certificates of excellence many times. In 1952 and 1963, Shaoxing Jiafan Wine was rated as one of the "Eight Famous Wines" and "Eighteen Famous Wines" respectively in the country. In 1979, Jiafan Wine was awarded the title of "National Famous Wine" and was awarded a gold medal and a gold medal by the State Economic Commission. Certificates; at the same time, Yuanhong Wine and Shanjiujiu Wine both won the title of "National Quality Wine" and were awarded the "Quality Product Certificate" by the Ministry of Light Industry. In 1985, Shaoxing Tower Brand Rice Wine won the gold medal in the World Food Tourism Product Competition in Paris, France. In the same year, it won the gold medal twice at the 12th World Expo held in Paris, France.

Among the many wine categories across the country, Shaoxing old wine is one of the most award-winning varieties. A few years ago, the country announced protocol reforms, and Shaoxing Jiafan Wine replaced Maotai as the state banquet wine for entertaining foreign guests.
