Strengthen the centralized quarantine of pig slaughtering and the quarantine and law enforcement of market beef, poultry and other livestock and poultry products. The designated pig slaughterhouse is on duty 24 hours a day and strictly controls the quarantine before and after slaughter. A total of 1,364 kilograms of diseased pork were quarantined throughout the year, and 53 imported pigs were detected, all of which were culled, burned and buried. . Strengthen the quarantine and supervision of livestock products in farmers' markets, quarantine thousands of live poultry and beef heads, remove diseased poultry and kilograms of diseased beef, and destroy them all, effectively ensuring the quality and safety of livestock products. Implement an inspection system for imported livestock and poultry, and strictly implement quarantine and disinfection of poultry and their products to prevent the spread of external epidemics.

Animal husbandry is one of the pillar industries of our town’s rural economy, accounting for 56% of the total agricultural output value.
