First of all, they offered sacrifices to Pan Wang, sang Pan Wang's songs and danced with yellow mud, encouraged him for a long time, remembered the merits of their ancestors and praised their heroic struggle spirit. Secondly, celebrate the harvest and enjoy the king's pleasure. At the same time, young men and women carry out duet activities and seize the opportunity to choose the right person. Some places also need fireworks sticks, fireworks and theatrical troupes.

The ceremony of Wang Pan Festival was presided over by four teachers, who performed their respective duties. The ceremony is mainly divided into two parts. The first part is to invite saints, rank, polish, recruit food, and thank the saints. The suona band accompanied the whole process, and the teacher danced "Wang Pan Dance" (chime dance, troop retreat dance, contract dance, soldier sacrifice dance, turtle catching dance, etc. ). The second part is to invite the ancestors and all the people of Yao nationality to play music, which means entertaining in Yao language. This is the main part of the festival. All ancestors of the Yao nationality are invited to participate in various cultural and recreational activities of the festival, and the long historical poem "King Pange", which expresses Yao mythology, history, politics, economy, culture, art and social life, is sung. Music spreading ceremony usually lasts one day and one night. There are fixed procedures for festivals in Wang Pan, the first is to worship Wang Pan. On holidays, altars should be set up to hang gods, with the largest statue in the middle being Panwang, and there are statues of Zhenwu, Gongcao, Tiangong and Mother Earth on the left and right. At the beginning of the sacrifice, the musket fired three shots, and then firecrackers exploded. In the sound of firecrackers, the old clan village always offers sacrifices such as pig's head, glutinous rice cake, chicken and wine in front of the statue. People bowed their heads and prayed silently to express their admiration and nostalgia.

After the sacrifice, everyone sang a king song and danced a king dance. Song of Wang Pan is contained in Yao Shu, which mainly narrates his life's deeds with poems, with seven sentences in total. The poem is refined and the melody is simple and vigorous. Wang Pan danced with drums and gongs. The dance moves are jumping up and down, turning left and turning right. The movements are vigorous and powerful, reappearing the simulated pictures of Yao ancestors farming and hunting, going out to kill the enemy, and sometimes accompanied by men and women. Its dances can be divided into three types: Pan Wang Dance, General Dance, Knife Dance and Sanyuan Dance, among which Pan Wang Dance is the most distinctive. Accompanied by the long drums, the dancers sometimes churn, sometimes rotate and sometimes jump. Dance movements mostly imitate labor movements, such as land reclamation, sowing, afforestation, logging, hunting and so on. The movements are rough and generous, and the rhythm is complex and changeable. The atmosphere of the whole scene is warm, giving people a rough and unconstrained feeling like Shan Ye. When dancing King Pan, the statue of King Pan and banners such as Guotai Min 'an and Bandai Xinglong are hung around the dance floor.

Pan Wang Dance, also called Pan Wang Dance, is usually performed in Jiecai Wang. Sometimes when men and women get married, they also dance the king dance on auspicious days. After the marriage, I chose an auspicious day to dance the Pan King dance, in order to ask the Pan King to bless the husband and wife never to separate and grow old together. After marriage, the king's dance is that the newlyweds stand in a circle with young men and women under the leadership of Mr. Yao, with women holding cymbals and men holding seals, facing the center of the circle, stretching forward and jumping back and forth. At every step, cymbals and hexagrams ring. Jumping back and forth to the center of the circle for a while, the formation began to rotate counterclockwise. Dance for a while, and both husband and wife will bow down to Yao Gong, and the dance will be over.

In addition to offering sacrifices to the King of Dishes, the King of Songs and the King of Dishes, some places also dance Hua Gun, set off fireworks and sing love songs.
